I'm about 19 hours into my experience with the Razr. I recently asked Verizon to send me a Razr to replace my fourth GNex that had issues with holding signal, screeching during calls, etc... (long list).

When I got the new Razr, I set up a few smart actions. I'm a moderate user and I keep my phone on 3G unless i need 4G for browsing or streaming.

I am thoroughly impressed with battery life so far. After 18 hours up without charging, I still have 50% left. The phone is smooth, call quality is good, and i like the form factor.

Just thought I'd share my thoughts. So far, I'm very happy I switched. I almost don't want to install ICS (when it comes) in fear that the update will screw this phone up.

That's great to know that you are having a good experience with the razr. Btw is it the maxx or the plain razr.
Also if you could keep updating in yur experiences with the device. Especially the screen quality it would be great. I am confused between the galaxy nexus or the razr.

It's just the regular Razr. I tried for the Maxx, but they wouldn't budge on that. So far, screen quality is decent on the Razr, but I have to hand the Nexus the victory on that aspect. However, the Razr is no slouch either.

I too had 3 G Nexes and ended up with the Razr. Then went through 3 Razrs and they budged on the Razr Maxx. The Razr is definitely better then the Nexus in my opinion. Not 100% sure why but the Smart Actions plays a big part in it. And I loaded the leaked ICS ROM and its definitely a smooth experience. But the Maxx is a beast on battery life. Thats all I can say. The screen in my experience is not as good as the Nexus, but it sure is close if anything.

Just not fond of the Black Pokadots. Which was on every Razr I had. A lot of Motorola products are like that. But Ill live with them. They can only be seen in the dark on a black screen.

I noticed that too recently, I thought it was dirt under my screen protector.

I only see those on boot. Never noticed them any other time.

Still. For what we pay. It shouldn't have that period. Moto dropped the ball on that.

Never noticed them...will try not to look for them. Usually I'm not looking at a black screen so hopefully it won't be an issue...the battery life more than makes up for it.

I was going to ask how is the razor because I might trade it for my galaxy nexus,so it looks like I'll only losing the HD screen, what about the camera,I heard it takes washed up picture?

I think the Rezound has the best camera currently on Verizon. The Razr camera isn't bad though, in my opinion.

The camera is so-so. When I installed the 4.0.4 ROM on my Nexus, the camera was much better than it was on 4.0.2. IMHO, the Razr camera is no better than the Nexus camera.
