Reception in fringe areas??

I currently have the Droid DNA, and I am thinking of taking advantage of the free G2. Is it worth the upgrade? How is the reception overall and in fringe areas? I think this deal is too good to pass up! What do you think?

My reception has been a LOT better than my old GNEX (but that's not saying much). That being said, overall I've had good coverage and better overall service than I used to. I have reception in several places I didn't before.
