Reception

How is the reception? I read a review saying that it is poor. I'm paraphrasing, the actual review was harsh on the matter.

Reception has been fine on AT&T. I wonder though low signal areas thanks to living in Kansas and the S6 has been holding a signal at least as well as my M8 did.

So far I've been impressed with the reception on the AT&T S6. It's much better than my G3 in low signal areas. At work my G3 constantly loses service while my S6 hasn't dropped yet.

My VZ S6 is comparable with my iphone6 which is very very good.

Mine on T-Mobile is fine. I actually get LTE in my house whereas on my 6+ I couldn't. .

I am on AT&T and the S6 I have has great reception. Reception in my office, which is inside a locker room for a gymnasium of a new building (lots of steel and concrete), can be difficult. I get 2-3 bars of LTE which is similar to the Moto X 2014 (Motorola typically have great reception). My dBM is around -104 which is 3-6 dBm better than any of my previous phones. The Note 4 I returned was around -110 to -114 dBm and I could rarely get two bars of reception.

I could only get 2g Edge at my house on the iPhone 5

Yes. The 6+ got HSPA / LTE from T-Mobile.
