That is the single most important feature IMO.

eBuddy has been great for me now that they've added C2DM push notifications.
It's also incredibly reliable, more so than Beejive and Trillian, which I paid $15 for.

no push notifications? that's a bit of a key feature that is hard to overlook for me.

+1 for push/C2DM. Being an HTC device owner, I conserve all the juice I can.
