Recipe and Shopping App??

My sister has an app that she can pull up recipes on and it builds her a shopping list, but it doesnt let her add extra stuff in it that she needs. Does anybody know of an app that I can get recipes and have it build me a shopping list from the ingredients, but will also allow me to add in the other things I need? If not, can you all please recommend your favorite shopping and recipe apps? TIA!!

Not sure about adding stuff in, but Jamie Oliver has a 20 minute meal app that has some nice recipes (just not many) and gives you the shopping list.

It's not a recipe app but I use Our Groceries as cross-platform list sharing was a must for me and my wife (she's on an IP4). You can enter ingredient lists for recipes so that you can choose to add an entire recipe's ingredient list to one of your shopping lists but it's not capable of storing the directions or for easy downloads of recipes if those are your requirements.
