Recommendation for a sd card?

I dont think the s10 can handle 1TB. I think it's just 512gb.

Actually, it can. The back end hardware is designed to handle 2tb. Just like when some manufactures said their devices couldn't handle more than 128gb a few years ago, and they were able to handle it just fine with a 256 or 512gb when the chips were released. Manufactures will only say what they can handle up till the chip is released.

As an example.

I've read reviews on Amazon about the evo select card that the cards weren't being recognized by their computers and others said they were counterfeit.

Evo Select is exclusive to Amazon...when sold by Amazon (*not* fulfilled by Amazon) it's authentic.

If it's not shipped and sold by Amazon then it will be a fake.
Get it direct from Samsung to be safe.

That's not true, I bought a 512 GB Evo Plus card from a third-party and it's real. It was Fulfilled by Amazon, so if there's a problem I can send it back (I also ran tests on it to verify authenticity).

You just have to watch who the seller is. Since amazon is selling it and not a seller you are good.

So someone mentioned doing 4K video you need U3 not U1 mine says A1 is that not as good as U?

Edit: Oh so is Samsung Evo U and San Disk A? I just saw this when going to the slick deal link? So do I want the Evo U3 over Sandisk A1?

Can you elaborate on these "tests" you ran to verify authenticity?

Look on your A1, it is probably a U3 as well. You will probably see a [3] on it. The A1 or A2 on San disk is a rating for if you store apps on the card. Supposedly those cards are faster for apps. If you are only using for photos it didn't matter.

I don't store apps on the card I mostly take pictures but I do video a lot local bands and concerts but I don't do 4K so I guess I am ok. Looks like one front of the other side from A1 I see U1 maybe I don't know it's hard to tell but I sure it'll be fine. My husband just said it says class 10 A1 and on the other side it has a U with a 1 in it. He had a magnifying app on his phone. LOL!

I had two 400GB Samsung cards delivered using the one hr delivery on Amazon a few months back and they are excellent. They were $100 each then, not sure what the price is now.
