Anybody have thoughts on what to buy for a 64GB micro sd for a G3?

Looking at Amazon, even just the SanDisk choices, is confusing. Normal? Extreme? Extra extreme?

I have a 32 gig class 10 card and it seems to work well. I would say try the estreme.

Buy the most expensive you can afford. Going cheap just adds more risk of corruption.

Sandisk Ultra or Extreme class 10. Don't skimp on the card, get a good one. It's the only thing between you and your data.

SanDisk is always a good choice. Go to their. Website will tell you difference between types

I have the Kingston UHS with a 90 read & 45 write.

As long as it is class 10 and a decent brand, you will be okay. Don't get caught up in the ultra extreme game. I prefer Sandisk myself.

I have the Sandisk 64 GB Extreme Plus. Performance is great...recording videos, taking multiple shots and browsing the gallery has no lag. Best Buy still have it on sale for $ 74.99.

Class 10 only suggests 10m/s and only with non-fragmented data and is the only Class that has this non-fragmented requirement. UHS is much better and starts at about 10m/s and goes up from there. Most UHS rated SD cards are 80m/s.

Quote from link: "Speed classes 2, 4, and 6 assert that the card supports the respective number of megabytes per second as a minimum sustained write speed for a card in a fragmented state. Class 10 asserts that the card supports 10 MB/s as a minimum non-fragmented sequential write speed and uses a High-speed bus mode."

This requirement actually makes class 6 better all around for general use.

Bought Samsung 64GB EVO Micro SDXC with Adapter Class 10 for $36.99 on Amazon. Couldn't be happier.

pny and kingston haven't been good in my experience.

Sandisk has been great and comes with a better warranty.

I picked up a SanDisk class 10 64gb for $36 on Amazon a few weeks ago, haven't had a problem with it.

I have a 128gb card and is only 3gb from being full. Has worked great in my S4 for months.
