Reconsidering the TB for a different phone? Here's a few comparisons.

I just looked and its a class 2 at $63.02.... the one for $90 is a Sandisk but looks different... has a made on China printed on it while the other one doesn't. I don't remember off hand what these cards normally look like but you have to be careful...they are selling bootlegs with the numbers changed on them..

There is a reason that the class 4 is more expensive than the class 2, and there is also a reason the phone ships with a class 4 and not a class 2.

Newer android phones are having problems with the class 2's un mounting and causing havoc because they don't write fast enough to keep up with the phone. It also makes recording hd videos impossible, and that's why the card unmounts and the phone defaults to internal memory when recording in hd longer than 10 seconds...

Now that I have sen info on the Incredible 2 Im thinking the TB will get a pass.

Can anyone talk about the technical differences in the cameras for the TB, Bionic, and the Droid X. I hear that the cameras are different both 8 MB and front facing, but what IS the difference?

Thanks.

The bigger question though is, how much do you think Verizon paid for that SD card? If there's any justification for jumping the price, that should be considered in the difference. Not what someone would pay for it at retail. That's like markup on markup. I'd bet Verizon is not paying more than $20 for it, if that.

Tired of waiting, might as well hold off for the...

...Samsung Infuse 4G for AT&T?

So, I've been waiting to upgrade to an Android phone. But I?ve been waiting for so long, I think I might hold off for the Samsung Infuse. I know this is an HTC forum, but I?d like to know what you all think of the Samsung? Well worth the wait, or not? I?ll probably root either phone, so which one is hacker friendly?

If you're into rooting, you should choose the phone that's more likely to get developer support. Those have tended to be HTC and Motorola phones, Verizon phones especially.

If you want a device that never gets updates, rarely has signal, and runs on a "4G" network that was called "3G" a few months ago, then go right ahead.

this thread is nice since it made me think of something i could use an answer to.

now on a bb storm1, going for tbolt. currently, i have no flash and no html-5.

tbolt like many devices with froyo+ (2.2+), have flash 10.1

what makes the bionic have the html-5 capabilities? is this due to the dual cores? (can the xoom also run html-5 for that matter?)

i thought all android browsers were alike (unless if you go with a 3rd party like dolphin etc). shouldnt the tbolt be able to run html-5 too?

i know on pc's that html-5 is a processor hogger. even if tbolt cant run html-5 i wont be upset, just want to know what else the moto has that gives it that bullet point.

CPU power.... and yes, Xoom can run HTML 5 but it has a beefed up browser on it.
