Every time I actually need to use the video recorder on my Fascinate, I get the beloved "Recording Failed" pop-up after about 10 seconds. I've had this problem on and off since I got the phone; doesn't seem to matter what ROM, Kernel, etc. just continues to happen. And only when I need it to grab a video of my kids or something.
There's a thread on XDA that suggests the microSD card that ships with our phone is just barely fast enough to handle 720p recording, and the problem can be fixed by getting a Class 6 card. OK, they are like $30, but is that really going to fix this? It still seems odd to me that not many people are complaining about this. It drives me NUTS!
