I was trying to record (video) church today and after about 25 minutes, it stopped recording and showed an error message stating that it was out of memory. I have the 128gb 6P so I knew it wasn't out of memory but checked anyway. Not even close. I started recording again and was able to finish out the service (about another 20 minutes).

Any idea what's up with that? How can I keep that from happening next time? I try to record the service for a friend of mine who is currently 1600 miles away.

Ahh. Makes sense. Is there any way to "fix" that? Can I change the resolution so I can record most of an hour at once? I'd rather record in MP4 anyway.

The default video resolution is 1080p; you can change that to 720p and that'll result in more recording time for an equivalent file size.

Have you examined the first video file to see if it did reach a file size limit?

Doubtful, but there may be a third party camera app that might continue recording by starting a new file. This is how higher end vid cameras deal with file system constraints.

Thanks. I'll just deal with it. I changed the res to 720 so that should give me a little more time. At least I'm aware of this for next time. Any idea how long I can record @ 720?
