Recovering apps?

My razr was busted and had to be replaced. Had ICS of course, but the new replacement razr had to download ICS, and can't seem to find my apps. After a recent factory reset they all came back, pretty as you please. Any way to recover them w/o having to spend an hour in google play store getting them back?

Log into google, then in settings/privacy ensure back up my data and automatic restore are selected. Connect to wifi, then just sit back and let everything install itself. If it fails to start, setting/apps/ all apps/ select the google play store and clear cache then data.

If that fails, factory reset again, log into google and when it asks you to back everything up with google select that and it should start installing all old apps
