Recovering texts, photos & videos

My 2yr old did a factory reset on my phone and I lost everything--- my father passed a few months ago and I had saved texts-- and I also had 5gb of photos and videos---- Is there any way I can possibly recover any of these files???

Welcome to Android Central! Very doubtful, sorry. Trying to recover data would require rooting the phone and using a 3rd party data recovery program, which often doesn't work very well anyway. And rooting requires writing to the phone's memory, which will probably wipe out some of the data that might be recoverable.
