recovery and bootloader work, thats it

so i went to install ics clean 2.2 but i still had the ph98img.zip file on my sdcard ext root so instead of the boot.img file flashing the ph98img file did.

now i can only access recovery and bootloader. i tried flashing that rom and also clean rom 1.5 and when i boot after the htc screen it just goes black.

i tried reinstalling the ph98img file and that didnt help either.

kinda stuck at this point. i tried pushing the ruu file after mounting the sdcard in recovery and that didnt work either.

running the ruu exe isnt helping either.

You have to relock to use the RUU. Don't do that though, it's a last resort.

Try this first. Uncompress the PH98IMG.zip file. Put that boot.img file wherever you have fastboot then run fastboot flash boot boot.img from a command prompt. Sounds like your kernel isn't flashing properly.
