Red divide on screen?

I have a samsung galaxy 7s edge and the past few days there been this red divide on 3/4s the screen. Its not there all the time but often enough i notice it.

Its like the red line across the screen with the rest of the screen behind it be tinted red. I tried looking this up elsewhere but i only got results for the red screen of death, the pink line, etc.

Has anyone seen this or know what the problem is and how to fix it?

Lines across the display, especially if they move or disappear/reappear, usually signal hardware issue on the display panel or display circuit.

If you boot up your phone in Safe Mode, do you see the line? If not, then it might be an app you installed that's causing it. If you do, it's very likely it's a hardware issue.
