Red lights are not going on for the home , menu, etc. buttons.

Any suggestions?

Likely a light issue - try covering the light sensor with your finger and see if they light up. It's very annoying. I don't know of a way to override and force them to light up; any body else know a trick for that?

Have you attemped a quick reboot to see if it shows back up? are you running a special rom ?

Did u just put a different screen protector on it,heard that some mess with the sensor, also try cleaning where it is located.

You don't know which button is which this point? :)

I always found the lights to be annoyingly bright. Took me a while but i finally found a ROM that allowed me to turn them off altogether.

What Rom does that?

ViperREZ. Under viper tweaks, button, capacitive backlights. There's also an app that works as well called keyboard backlight controller.

If you want just some lights but not full bright there's a script called dimleds. If you want the script let me know. I've got it somewhere on my laptop.

All in good fun! But I maintain my opinion that they are too bright.
