Red tab on screen

I have a Galaxy Note9 and it's been fine since Nov. Yesterday I noticed a red tab on the lower left corner of the screen. The rest of the screen is fine (no red tint). Anyone know what iy could be?

It's not there initially, it shows up after I launch an app (no consistency, no pattern).

Thoughts? How do I get rid of it?

Did you download a application?
Also make sure nothing in developer mode is on.
