Redditor with Pixel XL in hand. Good stuff

Ran into a girl with a Pixel XL while hiking today. She was with a couple guys with DSLRs who were taking her picture as she posed as if she was taking pictures with the phone. She said she didn't work for Google, so I'm guessing they were with an advertisement agency hired to take product shots for ads or something. I wanted to ask her if I could play with it, but they seemed like they were working so I didn't want to bother them.

As someone who is usually doing the photography of people in varied public locations, I thank you on behalf of the people you saw. You have no idea how grateful they are for being left to get their work done.

Just out of curiosity, what City/State were you in?

I really like the battery life results.

I was following that reddit thread and I believe his Pixel XL didn't have a SIM card inserted so it wasn't draining any power trying to look for mobile signals. I think that's a big part of power drain especially when you have a weak mobile signal.

I think the guy that got his phone early put his sim card in though. He got around 6 hours screen on time, I believe

Verizon WiFi, and VoLTE work with both the Verizon models, and the Google store model s. WiFi calling and VoLTE work with both Verizon, and or TMobile. WiFi calling does not work with Sprint or ATT. I do not know if VoLTE works with Sprint or ATT.

The redditor deleted the OP that had links to the pictures and videos from the phone as well as the youtube account that the videos were posted on. So I guess the sticky can be removed for this thread.
