Redirects aren't working

I have a Verizon LG G2 with a custom 4.4 ROM -- the majority of redirects aren't working. Click a link (even Google ads) and I get the error below:

"Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server *xyz.com*"

Any ideas? Does this with both Firefox and Chrome
