Reduce resolution

I have a samsung galaxy s5. My camera has very many resolution settings. I like taking photos in maximum resolution. But when I try to send the messages through a text message, sometimes I have difficulty with the size. So I have been taking pictures with a reduced resolution set at 2 gigabytes. How can I reduce resolution after I take a photo before I send it.Thank you

It's not the resolution you need to reduce to send them, it's the file size - just grab any half decent photo editing app and reduce the size to say 10% of the original, save that, send the small saved version

Text messaging app does conversion for me. i always take 16m pictures and never have to worry reducing picture size for mms.
