Reducing Contact Storage?

So, I was wondering why available internal storage was so low, so I looked at the biggest apps. I found out that my Contact Storage is almost 30MBs and I only have about 40 contacts... how can I reduce this without clearing ALL the data?

I just looked at mine. It is only .97mb, and I have over 100 contacts. Do you have a lot contacts with pics? That may be what is using all the space.

I don't know how many contacts I have, let's just say it's over 100, yet my contact storage only takes 0.88mb

Do you use a third party dialer or sms app?

I have Facebook intgrarion with all 326 of my friends (OK more like 65 and its mostly family and business, just play along so I can feel cool) and its 1.25 mb

I don't think the OV can actually even handle 90megs of contacts.

By the way, about 150 call history, 400 contacts, and mine is only 2 megs.
Something isn't right.

I have 77 contacts, and probably 200-250 calls in the call log, mine is at .89MB. What about dialer storage, what's that? My dialer storage is at 8.27MB.

1 MB is pretty big for only 55 contacts only three of which have pictures. However, I believe its so much because the three pictures I have are actual pictures, not thumbnails, so I assume if I put a pic like that for all my contacts that I might be able to get to 30... but 30 seems impossible...
