Best Buy is selling Geek Squad Certified refurbs of the Pixel 2XL (64GB) Black for $499. This is the Verizon model (which definitely works on other carriers) but can be purchased outright with no contract.

I am contemplating a purchase as its the cheapest way to find a P2XL anywhere (even Swappa) that is backed by a limited warranty.

Just an FYI

Unfortunately, the 128GB version refurb is a full $200 more.

I was just about to make a tread about this and ask about there return policy because im thinking about getting it. but with the 3 right around the corner idk what to do 😓

Pixel 3 XL will have new internals of course but at least the 2XL doesn't have the worlds ugliest notch on it.

As much hate as the notch get I think if Samsung came out with a phone first with one no body would have a issue with it.

Probably lol
All kidding aside I really don't mind it, kinda breaks up everything..my 1+6 has it but not as dramatic as my iPhone x

Now I still would rather not have it lol but I don't mind it to the point that I'm not going to buy a phone just because of it. Your right tho if it is going to have it I rather have it small more like the essential

Notch is not a big deal for me either. I just may pull the trigger on this as it has a 90 day warranty.

On the flip side, I'm curious to see what a mint condition 128s will go for on Swappa after Oct. 4.

Yeah....probably should sell my 2XL before October and use a back phone while I can still get a decent price for it. I almost see no reason to upgrade except for the newness factor.

I would hold out for this, check out the stats highly impressive $642 US
Removable battery in Screen fingerprint sensor triple cameras
And for a mere $499 you can purchase a Pixel 2 XL, duct tape it to the back of the One+ 6T and have a Verizon-capable device! Sweet!

No, we should definitely substitute midrange devices which cost $143 more than getting a 10 month old flagship. Even if refurbished, the flagship is almost always going to win in the quality department and because it's a better device AND cheaper, there's no question at all on which is a better value.

Also, that is a concept video and has no basis in reality in any part of it.

This is a concept video, and going by the OnePlus track record, they're not the ones to cram the latest top-of-the-line tech into their device (outside of the Snapdragon).

I don't see 3 cameras in the 6T, nor an in-screen fingerprint sensor, removable battery, or even a moving FF camera. Realistically: perhaps wireless charging, current IP standard, and some type of hybrid material that is more durable than the glass back.
