I have TMO prepaid $30 and use it with my Nexus 4. I use my GV # and have not given anyone the TMO #. I have no problems. I have set my phone to make all outgoing calls with my GV #. I use the native messaging app and receive and send MMS texts with no issues (using my GV#)
