So I dropped my phone and unfortunately it shattered. Just the the screen, back glass was fine. Lcd worked fine, could see everything clearly except the touch screen doesn't work. Welll I sent it in to get it repaired. After a couple days they send me an email with how much it will cost, what they're replacing, etc.

Anyways, in the picture it shows what's wrong...and it says "TW" I contacted LG personally and they said that it's just a software related issue (But I just dropped my phone) and that only the repairer can tell me exactly what's wrong. Has anyone had this same experience? Do they charge extra for repairs if your bootloader is unlocked and your phone has a Custom ROM on it?

No they won't charge you extra because of that. I'm sure TW doesn't mean much it probably is just something in their system I wouldn't worry much about it

How did you go about contacting LG? The bezel on my phone is beginning to chip for no reason (never dropped). It also powers off at least twice a day.

You may be better off just contacting google if it is a manufacturer defect (the restarting) then they'll just rma it. Not sure what theyd do with the chip you could ask google if they say they'll send you a new one I dont think itd matter much though

I'm curious for a follow up now that you probably have your device back. Did they fix it? Did they do a good job (you'd think so, being the OEM manufacturer...). I just cracked my front glass, so while the LCD works the digitizer is shot. I'm leaning toward LG repair even though I usually do this stuff myself, mostly because I haven't found a well reviewed and reputable source for replacement parts.
I sent it thursday and they billed me monday and I should get it back within 5-7 business days according to them

I believe TW means touch window. I dropped mine while getting out of the car the day after i got it. I called Google's support number, then they connected me to LG support. It cost $140 for them to fix mine. Only the screen had to be replaced. The symptom/cause on my authorization form was "Damaged LCD or Touchwindow Only. Out of Warranty repair cost $140."

This seems like a noob question but i had my phone since november and it had the buzzing noise since then but never bothered to call them since i do not talk much but lately is been bothering me and the charger it came with also has a buzzing sound ..if i call google will they replace it for free? don't feel like calling if they won't .
