Reinstall GB 4.5.588 over itself?

So I'm running the latest GB leak 4.5.588 and I accidentally deleted the Gallery before I did a full backup. So I can't just restore it. Question is, can I just reinstall the 4.5.588 three zip files directly over 4.5.588 with just a data/factory restore wipe? Or do I need to SBF back to Froyo and then do the three 4.5.588 zips all over again?

Eh, I'm just SBFing back to Froyo and reloading the 3 zips to play it safe and since I have 30 minutes to kill.

Still would like to know the answer to this as it could come in handy later on maybe.

All you needed to do was extracted the apk from original OTA rom and copied to System / App with root explorer.

Is there a way to get the 3D gallery from gummi jar on GB? I hate the blur gallery for the X and when I try to install the .apk from gummi jar with root explorer it says it can't be installed.

The 3D Gallery that the developers usually use are on the market... Check here...

I think your mistaken, that isnt a wallpaper app, I have installed that one on every room that did have it already installed.. That is a app to replace the gallery app on the device, you can change wallpapers also with it but that isnt its primary use.

I don't think so. The only 3D gallery I was able to get to is the one you have the screenshot of, which is not my pictures, just wallpapers included in the app. It did not install a seperate gallery.

Thanks Wildman, was looking for this apk myself. I had it installed and then when I upgraded to GB, it just disappeared. App Market says I already have it installed & I didn't know how to change that designation.
