Reinstalling apps

Was wondering what the best method is for re-installing apps I've downloaded? Guess I'm not understanding this process the best as I'm rooted running Kinged Hateslinger Rom and now I want to get all my apps back. I was previously running Astro file manager which I haven't resinstalled yet but all the apps are taking up room on my SD card but not showing up in Apps yet. What's the best process to follow when going through flashing new Roms and then getting to the point of reinstalling downloaded apps? Sorry for my newbieness!

Titanium Backup Pro (paid version), if you want to restore many apps at once. (My Backup Pro is also used by many who are rooted)

App List Backup, if you want to restore apps from the market. This only saves the list of apps, not the apps themselves.

AppBrain, if you want to restore apps from the market also. You can use this to customize your lists.

Astro also backs up apps but takes longer to reinstall all the apps
