Swype expired today and I have been having issues renewing it.
I replicated the installation steps for my device (AT&T Inspire) and in the command prompt section i was getting failure notices, saying whatever file already exists. So I removed Swype installer and Swype from my phone, restarted and downloaded the "new" installer from their website.
I then started from the beginning of the steps and things were going well until I reached another hurdle. When the installation step required I run the installer on my device, the installer says that there is a newer version of the installer available, and the only option is UPDATE. I hit update and I am immediately greeted by AT&Ts non marketplace warning.
I can only speculate that my next step would be to throw myself in front of a bus as I just dont want to go back to texting without Swype.
Suggestions? about reinstalling, not jumping in front of the bus?
