Guy at sprint store Monday told me may. He said may 7. Since pre orders are already going I would think may is a safe bet.
EVO-LUTION 3D
There's no way this will be out on pre order day ( May 7th ) I think he misunderstood your question.

EVO-LUTION 3D
What's the use in speculating about a release date? They're gonna release it whenever they're ready anyway. Since they've done away with the Premier program, my main concern is if/when they get the Note (the E4GLTE is my second choice). Wish the E4GLTE had a removable battery, too.
I just went to a Tmobile store to play with the One s Htc was there pumping up the phone ( its launch day). I asked Him about the New Evo..... Then he responded "That comes out on the May 18" Then he tried to get me to buy a One s.
I also got some HTC swag too. I did ask if he had one ( EVO) and he said no..
There it is May 18 is the date
I really hope this guy knew what he was talking about. Although, a friday is a strange release day for a phone from Sprint.
I just hope that when the phone is released that Best Buy still has the $50 savings plus a $50 Best Buy Gift Card when you trade in a EVO 4G......paying $149 plus getting a gift card for giving up my OG EVO would kick ass!!!
EVO 3D was released on a Friday last year.
I just spoke with the Sprint Project Manager at my job, and she says that the release will be May 18th.
Update: Was also just told that all Sprint Store Signage (which my company prints for them) will be shipped to Sprint Stores on May 14th for a release of May 18th.
Hope so! Saw you getting some love over @ goodandevo First look at marketing materials for HTC EVO 4G LTE, May release date is confirmed
Are you a Sprint employee, or just connected?
I asked this question earlier in this thread, but being it is now almost May 2nd and still no announced date ... Could Sprint really start accepting pre-orders on May 7th WITHOUT announcing a release date?
And if so, would you still pre-order?
