Release Date

Now that AT&T has released info on their other two Droid 4G devices, I'm hoping they will release information on this one soon! They probably will wait to release into the summer though considering the other two devices will be out within the next month.

I was reading an AT&T press release and it said that they would release two 4G phones in the first quarter and the third in the second. Well, I guess we have our answer - later this year. :/

Can't remember if it was the Infuse or GS2, but on the Swedish Samsung website, the release date was May for one of them...but you know the Swedes....

I wish they would give us the release 1/8th, the release being in the 2nd quarter is too big of a range. Heck even a release 1/8th isn't narrow enough, I want to know the release 1/16th

I'm guess it will be released in a few weeks during CITA or after. Just a guess though. I need it to be released ASAP because I'm returning my Inspire 4G next week because I want to get the Infuse instead.

I think we are inching closer, I believe these pages have been updated:

Not really anymore detail, but it looks like images were updated with probably a final walpaper screenshot.
They probably updated this comming soon website primarily to add the LG Thrill to the main page, but if the wallpapers are new it does show movement on the Infuse Marketing.
Hopefully this will be a really early Q2 release.

I'm not holding my breath but I'll have my ears on during the first week of April which happens to be "Race week" for the Samsung Mobile 500 at TMS. Technically, April 7, 8, 9.

Is it normal for Samsung to use Race Week for announcements? I hadn't noticed them doing this. interesting...... could it be? maybe? Am I delusional? probably. lol All we can do is wait.

Yeah, it's a stretch. Seemed like a good opportunity to release new products. I'll keep an eye on the TV and an ear to the radio for any announcements but I'm not banking on it. It's frustrating knowing that AT&T released 2 of the 3 phones announced in January with this being the one I've been waiting for. I'm tempted to just go ahead and get the Atrix but I'll probably wait for the head-to-head comparisons. Or wait for the Galaxy S II, or the new LG Thrill, or, or, or, or.........
