Release delayed

Update: Not to confuse anyone who may see this thread now. The original message was in early May and does not pertain to the U.S. release of the Thrive. Toshiba states this will be available in "early July."

Just stumbled upon news that the Toshiba tablet release has been delayed until Q3 of 2011 or perhaps longer. Too bad. I was eager to have a look at this one in late spring as originally stated in January.

well doesnt that just suck,
I just went to bestbuy, there pre order arrival date still show 7/15/11
I wonder when they will change there website, or worse yet, they sdont change the arrival date and suck people into pre ordering like i almost did today.
I guess I will have yo go for the new samsung galaxy tab

Anticipated availability mid-July.

I've never heard of the source of your article, DMAC55; do you know whether it has a history of reliability?
