relocked phone not installing sense 6 ?!!

I've a used HTC one relocked at some stage and can't install sense 6 ! It downloads the update but won't install it ! Htc suggested a factory reset but this didn't work .Any help much appreciated !

Is there a custom recovery on it?

Not sure what a custom recovery is, I'm not up on these type of things ! Is there any way I could check ?? Cheers

Boot it into the bootloader and you can enter recovery from there and post what you find

My m7 is doing the same thing. I didn't try a factory reset though. I'm doubting it'll work. Mines running sense 5 ~ 4.3 it did a reset on itsown actually, and it's been returned to stock after being rooted with aopk. Any suggestions? Not sure if it was custom recovery or not.

After choosing the recovery use the power button to enter recovery and that will let us know
