Well, I really loved my Blackberries for the past four years. It seems that RIM is really dropping the ball, though. Time to look elsewhere for something that will do what I want without buggy OS updates that are still years behind everyone else's phones.

Hoping to pick up a DROID Incredible today. Bye bye Storm2. At least you should get me a decent Best Buy gift card.

i left blackberry just under a month ago for my droid 2 and although i love my new phone and the android OS does have a learning curve, there are things i miss from my Blackberry Bold 9650 that i wish was incorporated on my new phone, such as being able to send emails from my work email addy and yes i have researched and downloaded and loaded all kinds of 3rd party email apps to no avail. good luck with your purchase.

Hi, MRHIGHSPEED.
Glad to have u on board.

Welcome to Android - the place where all or most dreams become reality. :)

Congrats on the move. I recently made the same move from a 9630 to the Samsung Mesmerize and I couldn't be happier.

There is definitely a learning curve with the switch, and there are a few things I miss from the BlackBerry platform (such as BBM, autotext, and how well integrated all the apps were with one another). For the most part, there are ways to work around the differences. Swype has helped with getting past autotext, and I have become rather proficient with it.

I'm still working on the best way to handle all the different email accounts as well. Hope your transition goes well!

Welcome to the forums! The Incredible is a great device so if that's what you choose I'm sure you won't be let down. Let us know how you made out! :)

it does seem like RIM is behind the times, doesn't it? i love my berry, but yeah, i'm looking for something else and something more, ya know? android it is!!

Only reason bb are still popular is because of emails. I'm getting so sick of my bb the past few days. I'm going back to the DX and not waiting for lye devices. I just want to smash my bb on the floor and run it over. But I won't just because I might be able to sell it for a good price.

I was a bb user for years. I uses email and bbm more than anything. Since I only use gmail an android device was perfect for me. Most of my bbm friends also use gtalk so that worked out as welll. Im loving my lg optimus. :)
