I regret it though. Sort of

I had a noise or rattle at the top part of the screen. I thought a few years ago I did as well. And a guy with a 6P said he had the noise

He told me to open the camera app, and touch, shake etc. Well NO NOISE

I sent back, not feeling comfortable with the noise

Does anyone have that noise...or was it just me?

iPhones are notorious for this, it's the camera lens. Every iPhone I've had since the 4s has rattled in the lens.

The camera lens moves in and out, so yes. It's normal. Shake a camera. It has parts that move.

Mine neither rattles nor hisses - this is not at all acceptable - it will be returned for the "R&H" model -

If you shake the phone a bunch yes. Under normal use you won't hear or notice it though.

I am not sure of the pixel but my 1020 did have the rattle like sound with all the different lense elements moving inside when there was a movement in the phone. It was bad when the recorded video had a distinct hissing sound which I am guessing was the OIS component in the lense assembly operating. It would get louder when the zoom level was changed.
