Remapping Bixby question

I see there is a few apps for remapping the Bixby button. My question if I remap the Bixby button and need to boot into recovery mode how does that work?
Currently from off screen it's hold down volume up, power and Bixby.
Will it still work remapped?

These apps, unless they specify that root is needed, will only re-map it after the system has booted and will intercept the command once the OS is loaded, so nothing would change for recovery.

Even the ones that need root I don't think would affect that, but I might be wrong since those actually modify system files.
