Reminders

I posted this on the news group before but the moderator moved it to another subject. It has been 3 days without a response. Here is the post again.

I had 2 repeated reminders from my old Samsung that came to the Pixel 3. They show up on my screen saver (clock). I don't know how to or modify the reminder. I have checked everything I know. The only thing I found was to use the calendar app but I don't want to clutter up the app. Help.

So are you asking if the pixel 3 has a reminder app like the Samsung phones?

Where did you create the reminders to begin with? If they show up on your Pixel I assume you created them in Google. However, Google does not actually have a Reminders App. They are viewed in Google Calendar, or you can get to them by going in the Google App.

I would go into files see if it there and erase it

What was the app you used on the Samsung to create the reminders in the first place? Once you figure out the application you used, you can go into that apps file folder like mustang7757 pointed out above, and delete that folder. Hopefully that should rectify your situation.

File manager should be in your app list

Also check in settings then apps installed and see if reminders got added there and uninstall

(App) "Files" > Menu Bar Top Left > Select Pixel 3 XL > Find folder of app and delete it
(App) "File Manager" > Main Storage > Find folder of app and delete it

Reminders are modified under your Google Assistant settings under "Services".

I have the Files app ES file manager. Neither of them have the option you described.
Maby if I explain further, it may help. The next reminder shows on the screen saver while it's on the Pixel charger. I can't find where the notice comes from. I've searched high and low throughout my settings. I'm really getting frustrated

Dude, youre really all over the place. We are at post 17 and you finally tell us which file manager you use. of course you wont find our suggestions in that. You really need to start giving us more information when you complain about something. I tried, and wanted to help. But you seem to fight against every helpful or suggestive post someone makes and you just keep repeating yourself. Its like you dont even try to figure something out for yourself, you just rely on everyone else doing it for you.

So you only have this problem on the pixel stand ?
