On the Stand it is fine.

Do you have another charger, a plug in type, you also use?

Yes. I used the plug in cord to charge it and it did the same as the Google stand. The messages come from somewhere. That's what I want. How do I find out where they come from.

When you see the message long press see what option you get

If you open Google Calendar > Options shade and check the Reminders box under your Google account (usually listed as your gmail address), it should populate any reminders associated with your Google account into the calendar. I think doing this can either confirm or eliminate your Google account as the source. I have two daily reminders set up under the Google app (not under the calendar) that will show in Google Calendar if the Reminders box is checked.

I don't have Gmail. How do I find reminders in the Google account?

Something weird just happened. I was just leaving Duo and the reminders I have been looking for just miraculously appeared. I still don't know how to find it again. If I can find it, my problem is solved. Still need help to find that screen. Any other suggestions?

Against my better judgment I'm jumping in . You said these same reminders were on your other phone. You created the reminders What app did you use when you created them ? You also mentioned that the samsung app came over to your pixel. Do you possibly think maybe that app might be the one you created the reminder in?

I'm really embarrassed. The answer to this question was in front of me the entire time. I couldn't remember how I created the reminders in the Samsung years ago. It was as simple as using the Clock app already on my system. It was there all the time. I'm sorry for all the mindless posts and I thank you for your patience. I really feel STUPID.
