Removal of duplicate apps in Marshmallow 6.0.I

I see duplicate app icons when I open apps via settings. How do I delete the extra app icon?

Are you certain? Look carefully. Is one the app, the other the app (Odex)? Or one the app, the other a slightly different name (like "loader" or something)? You'll usually see "almost duplicates" for at least a few apps in the application manager.
