How can I remove ads? Those pop up ones that even play sounds. So annoying.

It could be an app that you installed. My dad had the same thing happen and it turned out to be a flashlight app he installed.

It's an app you installed! There is no bloatware installed by Samsung nor your carrier that will cause this. Search around the web and these all of Android Central for confirmation.

I've been checking out all my apps and I can't find the one doing it. Thank you all for answering my call for help.

If you're getting notifications in your notification center (like emails and texts), tap-and-holding the notification usually shows its source.

Checking apps with what? A rogue app is not going to be in plain sight. The best is to do factory reset. Wiping cache and storage, reset permissions, MalwareBytes or other tool.

The fault can lie with adserver, with a web site even.

Adguard is impeccable. 2 problems: 1) You have to sideload from their site, and, 2) pay for app. Playstore version does not work.

Above is correct. But it's worth it. It does so much more than just block ads. You can firewall apps in the device so they can't access the internet and other useful stuff...
