Remove At&t Address Book?

I have a unlocked V10. I do not use at&t

Everytime you launch contacts it prompts a pop up for at&t address book App.

How to remove or disable?

Great phone but this is annoying as I use contacts a lot for daily work.

Two options you can try...

1) Open Contacts the select the three dots in the upper left -.Contact Settings. From there look at "Contacts to Display" and select the contacts store you want to use.

2) Open Contacts the select the three dots in the upper left -.Contact Settings. From there select "Accounts and Sync" and see if there is a listing for "AT&T Address Book" If so select it and then deselect the "Sync Address Book"

This is assuming that you have some other contact store configured to use.

I found the below on another thread as I just purchased the unlocked LG V10 yesterday and was having the same issue. Once I completed the registration the issue was resolved...

This is how i removed the AT&T phone book from my LG G2 phone. Type star # star # 2666 # star # star then set registration to completed when it appears and the AT&T phone book will be permanently removed, i found it to be annoying.

One thing to add...I had to restart WHILE on the selection screen for it to work. Otherwise, the registration would switch back to Initializing. Seems to have worked now.
