Remove or disable night mode

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung S8 and want to use night mode, but everytime I pull down to put on button for night mode I am told cannot use night mode whilst using a theme, so how can I get over this problem

I think you have answered your own question. Don't use a theme as it's not compatible

You have to go into settings>themes> then change the theme to the one with the purple gradient Samsung wallpaper.
