So I Think my digitizer has gone out phone turns on sounds work However my screen is black and I want to remove the photos on it before I send it in for warranty claim ( no sd card ) Is this possible or am I SOL ?

If you have USB debugging already enabled, you can use adb. Just open it up and start a shell with "adb shell". Then you can CD to your sdcard/internal storage and delete the dcim folder.

That folder stores all of your photos.

Unfortunately I don't know how to guide you through enabling adb (if its not already enabled) without a screen.

However you may just be missing the display drivers. Try to boot into recovery, if nothing still comes up, then the digitizer is messed up. As recovery comes with its own set of drivers.
