remove status bar in browser?

Couldnt find any post regarding this topic...
Anyone know how to remove the status bar when viewing, surfing the web?
This would be awsome to have that little extra viewing space. Im on the stock browser and im thinking I might have to dl a different browseing app. Any help would be great!

cant be done in stock browser, but most market alternatives have that option. i cant recommend dolphin browser hd enough; blows stock away IMO
