Remove " tap and hold screen to add items"

Is there any way to remove the text "tap and hold screen to add items" from empty screens on the Galaxy S3. I know it is minor but it drives me nuts.

i dont know about touchwiz man but with go launcher theres an option to lock the screen so u can long press it as much as u like

There is a way of doing it. From home screen, make like a clawing motion on the screen, and all the windows will show. At the bottom of the screen, a garbage can will be there. Drag the one that has that annoying sentence, and drag it to the garbage. (should turn red). Then when the screeen pops back up, it will be gone. There will be a plus sign, but when you hit home, it will be gone, and now you have a clean window.

Well,not any remedies, I see.
I have a blank screen without that text, but just the bottom icons. I'll mess around a bit, and see if I can find out what I did.

Hmm. I just don't know.

EDIT: Just a thought, but are you using a stock background?
I have Jumpgate for mine. (Live wallpaper)

Add an application icon, and then delete it. The text should be gone afterwards

just drag & paste any icon from the beside screen to the blank screen where the above text is shown....
then drag it back to the beside screen.
Done !!! you r left with a blank screen without any text. cheers & enjoy.
