"removed apps" Data Usage???

or does the process of uninstalling use data?
i had a clean out last week and uninstalled a lot but dont think any of them were data hungry.
its used 10GB in past 3 weeks.

I would guess it is data that was used by these apps before you un-installed them , they should defiantly not be using data after you un install them!!

Hmmmm...removed apps...thats a new one...guess it was showing you what volume of data your uninstalled apps used in the time period you were looking at

Yes a torrent client would defiantly do this and an app counts as background the moment your not looking at it so yes that is probably it.

yeah since the date i posted this, my data use for uninstalled apps is zero so that was the culprit. must have been slowing my phone and data speeds down too!
ive kept tTorrent but force close it when im not using it. thanks mate

Can you post a screenshot of your problem? I can't find a place that shows what you're referring to.

I have this problem too..its going me crazy.

You've already done what's necessary - you uninstalled the offending apps. You can't do anything about the data that they used while they were on the phone.
If you don't want to be reminded of that you can reset the information but that doesn't change anything.

I'm not sure how this works, BUT I'm looking for help to FIGURE OUT how removed app's is showing gigs usage! Some people have said that it is showing the data that the app used. So does that mean it is not actually used data?
It's a simple question, BUT I keep getting complicated answers. HELP me.

This just happened to me also. I got here by Googling it for answers. My data usage shows 11gb for "removed apps" and I Don't Remember Uninstalling A Single App! I had the same phone, and the same OS for about 2 years and this never happened before. Just has me worried that some app or apps have been "removed" without my Intentionally doing it.......
