Removing a name from an established group text?

How can Android make it so that we can remove a name from a group text? If not, you guys need to come up with a way because I have huge parties, some may cancel and I don't have time to put in all the names again

Welcome to Android Central! Be aware that this is an independent community forum, without any direct affiliation with Google or any other company.

This is a limitation of MMS, which is not controlled by Google. In order to leave a group MMS message, you basically have to tell everyone in the group to abandon that message thread and have them create a new thread without you. The other option is to use a different messaging platform (like Telegram) which supports that kind of option (but then, of course, everyone would have to be on Telegram).
