Removing Apps that came on xoom wifi

my xoom wifi came with some games on it that I am not at all interested in like

Dungeon Defenders (this is 600MB I would love to have this space for other stuff)

can i remove them safely and not have any worries about updating and stuff at a later time?

Without root you will not be able to accomplish this. They are technically part of the firmware so unless you have root access they will not go anywhere. If you do root and remove I believe there will be no issues, however if the first update is any indicator you will have to restore the stock image in order to receive the update

I don't think so, you will probably need root to remove the apks in the system/apps destination.

OK thanks for the info, not ready to root yet so I guess they will have to stay, just have to wait for SD support to get more space
