Removing Device From Google Account

I work at eMAG Romania in the returns departament. We recived from a client LG V10 Phone that was reset to factory setings but not removed from the clients google account. I called the client and asked him to remotly remove the device from his google account. He than called me back and informed me that the removing is done, but the device still asks for the google account that was previously synced on it. I turned it on and off a few times, i even reset the device to factory setings 2 times. then the client even changed his google account password for me to access it directly from the device, but now the device is not recognizing the account.
I run out of options. Please help !

I would return the phone to your client so that they can return it for a warranty replacement.

There may be some hidden setting that prevents a total wipe when you factory reset the phone. There is a great article on this site about this function.
