Removing Encryption?

I recently encrypted my new galaxy nexus which only lets you unlock the phone with a PIN or password. I was wondering if there was a way to remove the encryption if I wanted to use pattern/face unlocking in the future. The phone doesn't seem to have this option, or I can't find it. If someone knows please reply. Thanks.

Factory reset. It says that is the only way to do it before you encrypt it.
