Removing Facebook Photos

New phone for me. How do I remove facebook photos and what not from my contact?

From what I can tell you have to unlink the contact from Facebook before you can make their photo whatever you want. You unlink them by clicking on the little chain up in the right hand corner of the contact card. Green means they are linked, white means they aren't. All my contacts were unlinked when I got my phone and I had to link each one as I went along.

Thanks. Got to be a way to just unlink all the contacts from syncing with facebook

Go in the people app. menu, view, and uncheck facebook contacts.

Yes there is, don't sign in to htc facebook. Use the app, and check don't sync under the contacts option under settings...
Other than that, I don't think so..at least not all of them at once

This is finally fixed in the gingerbread update. Before the update the EVO would always switch back to the facebook picture after a while no matter what you set for the contact photo. Now after the update you can set a contact photo and it will stay. To change it, Click on a contact in the People app and click on the link button. Click on the contact photo on the top left and select which photo you want to use.

ive removed facebook and twitter from 'accounts & sync' deleted my contacts, logged out of facebook and twitter. then when i logged back in, it added the pictures again! why!?!?

Menu... Settings... Accounts & Sync.... FACEBOOK FOR HTC SENSE... UNCHECK sync contacts (as well as live feed if you wish). You can also select remove account.
