Removing quick connect

I've seen several posts about not being able to remove Quick Connect once you turn it on, but they are several months old. My hope is that Samsung has seen the error of their ways and allowed a way of disabling it without voiding the warranty. I don't really care about whether is shows up on the dropdown or not,but I want to disable it. I still want bluetooth to communicate with my paired devices though. I'm afraid if i check the box within quick connect, I'll lose that function.

Will I? Has Samsung come up with a way of disabling it?

If you are talking about an App, then you could disable it by going to Application Manager.

just hide the quick connect from the drop down menu. everything will be fine
