Removing Sprint Hotspot

I've been working on removing the Sprint Hotspot icon from the app drawer of our phones, but I don't really know enough about app development to do it. So far I can remove the .png file that has the icon image in it, but the icon itself remains in the drawer.

My question is: Would it be possible to edit Settings.apk, just so that the Sprint Hotspot icon doesn't appear in the app drawer, but the actual Settings icon stays, and the app stays intact? How would one edit the .apk so that the icon doesn't appear anymore?

You could get a launcher like Go Launcher EX or Launcher Pro to hide the app from the app drawer. You can hide apps from the drawer with that.
